The partnership aims in particular to provide farmers with access to crop.zone’s technical solutions for herbicide-free crop control. crop.zone is a technology company, based in Aachen, Germany and has been developing an advanced all-in-one system in series production since 2019 that enables biological and residue-free plant control for commercial farmers.

The system has already won several national and international awards and is now sold throughout Europe. crop.zone recently won the DLG Agrifuture Concept Award 2023 for its 24-meter machine concept during Agritechnica 2023.

“Our main goal has always been to provide our customers with the latest agricultural technology to increase productivity and further develop agricultural businesses. Through this long-term cooperation, we are investing strategically in the future”, says José González Rosáenz, Managing Director of Tajada Barrio S.L.

“crop.zone’s machines and solutions will be available at all of Tajada Barrio’s agricultural locations. In addition, crop.zone will now be able to rely on the experienced team of the established company to provide all commercial services and spare parts in Spain and Portugal. This agreement is an important step in crop.zone’s international expansion strategy.”

“We are delighted to have gained one of the leading distribution partners in the Iberian markets. For 60 years, Tajada Barrio has been driving agricultural innovation and serving professional farmers at the highest level”, Christian Kohler, CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) of crop.zone adds.
