Pimon Suphapphet is a second-generation sugarcane grower In Thailand’s sugarcane belt Chaiyaphum. He owns six of Case IH Austoft harvesters and is among Thai farmers who are choosing Case IH to farm more efficiently and sustainably.
The Thai market has been moving towards Case IH technology since Pimon’s return from Australia in 2011, where he witnessed first-hand the capabilities of the Case IH’s sugarcane harvesters.
Pimon said the new Austoft 9000 performed well in comparison tests. “I was quite satisfied with its features after comparing it with other products. All the good reviews and recommendations from friends who have Case IH harvesters further convinced me. Now I own six of them!”
The Austoft 9000 was launched in Thailand last year. It is highly rated for its engines, intelligent hydraulic system, and a raft of innovations that allow for greater harvesting capacity at a lower operating cost.
Pimon has been leveraging Case IH machinery for more than 10 years. In being an Austoft customer, he said fuel efficiency, the cost-effectiveness of machine parts, and the availability of 24/7 support service are major reasons why he has chosen for the brand.
“We’re pleased to know that Case IH is a trusted name in Thailand and more farmers are reaping the benefits of great iron and great tech,” said Dithapan Hurakit, Case IH South East Asia Marketing and Technical Support. Sales of the Austoft product series have been increasing steadily over the past few years, according to Dithapan.
Equipped with a Smart Cruise intelligent engine, the Austoft 9000 harvesters are designed to optimise fuel consumption and facilitate easier harvesting.
