The investment in future technology for vegetable harvesting equipment from Oxbo, will in part be made possible by a contribution from National Growth Fund program NXTGEN HIGHTECH in The Netherlands.

Oxbo is one of a select group of companies planning to contribute new technology and smart solutions to address the need for automation and robotics in agriculture and to ensure that future agricultural machines can work safely and reliably without a driver.

“We are pleased that our project was named for support through NXTGEN HIGHTECH,” commented Roel Zeevat, Oxbo CEO. “It is an honor to receive this support; NXTGEN HIGHTECH will allow our engineering team to accelerate planned product development designed to deliver new technology for vegetable customers.”

“We are extremely excited to begin development on the disruptive concepts funded by this program,” remarked Leonardo Ungaretti, CTO for Oxbo.

With its roots deep in mechanization of vegetable harvesting, Oxbo remains committed to developing and integrating technology to meet the needs of this important agricultural sector.
