Easy adjustment to the soil condition

In the field of active soil cultivation, Grimme presents the next generation of the GF series rotary tiller with “Go-Clean” concept. The GF400 combines the previous models of the GR and GF series into one machine.

The machine is equipped with a new rotor, new tine geometry and an innovative quick-change tine system. The optimized geometry reduces not only the overall weight, but also the required lifting and drive force. In addition, the well-known “hybrid ridge shaping unit” from the PRIOS potato planter is available.

The new generation of cultivators features a hydraulically hinged housing across the entire working width. Flexible PU elements in the housing minimize soil adhesion and also reduce noise emissions in stony conditions. Thanks to the PU housing elements, sticky soil can be removed more easily, reducing the spread of soil-borne diseases.

The new tine geometry and tine arrangement on the rotor shaft ensure that the soil is finely crumbled, creating an optimal seedbed for subsequent vegetable or potato cultivation. The new tine quick-change system allows tines to be changed within 60 seconds per tine.

The hybrid-ridge shaping unit can be flexibly converted and adjusted to different soil conditions and customer requirements in the field. The hybrid ridge shaping unit combines ridge crown plates and cage rollers to create stable and smooth ridge flanks and an open-pored ridge crown.

The machine opens across the entire working width for easy and safe access to the interior.

Cleaning and maintenance work can be carried out in an upright position.

The tines are locked with an anti-rotation mechanism that stops them from turning.

The GF 400 combines the previous models of the GR and GF series into one machine.
