Faresin Industries expands its electric self-propelled mixer wagon range with the Leader PF Full Electric 2.24. This new wagon with milling cutter, represents the balance of technological innovation, environmental sustainability and economic productivity.
The PF 2.24 FE is designed for livestock farms seeking to combine efficiency, precision, and environmental responsibility. With a mixing volume of 24-cubic-meter, the new mixer builds on the architecture of the 2.20, retaining its features in robustness, mixing performance and agility. The new machine features a larger mixing tank designed to meet the needs of large livestock farms, seeking low-environmental-impact solutions.
Like all models in the Full Electric line, the Leader PF 2.24 FE is engineered as a fully electric platform. It is equipped with four independent electric motors dedicated to the main functions: a 52 kW traction motor providing speeds of up to 20 km/h, a second 52 kW motor for mixing, a third 34 kW motor for the milling cutter, and a fourth 23 kW motor for hydraulic services. Each system always receives the power it needs, when it needs it, to ensure maximum performance. Power is supplied by lithium (LFP) batteries from 91.3 to 137 kWh, designed for intensive professional use and fast recharging. The operating range allows up to seven mixes per charge, equivalent to a full working day. The advanced system also recovers energy during braking and deceleration.
Concrete sustainability
Eliminating the diesel engine means zero fuel consumption and zero direct emissions, generating substantial operating savings. When powered by self-generated electricity from photovoltaic, wind, or biogas systems, the economic savings become even greater, up to 30 tons of CO₂ avoided annually compared to an equivalent combustion model. Noise pollution is also drastically reduced, significantly improving animal welfare and working comfort inside the barn.
The Leader PF Full Electric 2.24 maintains all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, with three steering modes (front, concentric, and crab) and a turning radius of just 6.1 meters, ensuring exceptional maneuverability even in tight spaces.
The dual-auger mixing tank in S355 steel, with optional AISI 304 stainless-steel liners, offers strength and long-term durability. The augers deliver a soft, homogeneous cut that respects fiber structure and nutritional quality. The ergonomic, quiet PF cab features an electro-proportional joystick, a 10” display, and integrated weighing and electronic control systems connected to Farm Manager Web, Web Feeding, and AI Feeding software for smart, seamless feeding management.
The new Leader PF 2.24 Full Electric is fully prepared to integrate all “Smart Feed Tech” functional enhancements for large scale livestock operations worldwide. From guaranteeing nutritional accuracy to optimizing digestibility and enabling AI-driven management of each individual animal, the Faresin system enables intelligent livestock feeding.
