Valtra has expanded its G Series. The fifth generation of this series in the 100-145 hp range, first launched in 2020, is now available with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The show tractor, unveiled at Agritechnica, features an exclusive hand painted finish by renowned international artist Stilbruch Lack.

The existing Powershift models will remain in production, with no changes to engine output. The new CVT option is available across all four G Series models and comes in two configurations: Active and SmartTouch.

Intuitive tractor controls ensure smooth starts and stops, even on slopes, while the Valtra Shuttle with integrated park position or parking brake in  CVT models, simplifies starts and direction changes. Operators benefit from maximum visibility with 5.7 m² of glass and a low bonnet design, ideal for front loader work. SmartTouch models offer electronically controlled, programmable rear valves that integrate seamlessly with Valtra’s U-Pilot headland management system. The more straightforward Active models feature mechanical rear valve controls. The integrated front loader subframe, electronic joystick, and up to 110 l/min hydraulic flow make this tractor suitable for loader tasks.

Smart farming solutions like Valtra Guide, ISOBUS, Section Control, and TaskDoc are available across the range, and with optional Technology and Technology Pro packages the farmer can reach next level of advanced automation and precision. For forest use, the operator can take benefit of 180 degree swivelling seat in Active models which makes backwards implement operation possible

Comfort and accessibility are built in, with wide, self-cleaning steps, a spacious cab for two, suspended seat, air conditioning, and ergonomic controls that reduce fatigue. Four modular Option Packages: Comfort, Technology, Technology Pro, and Front Loader let users tailor the tractor to their needs. All G Series models can be factory-fitted with an electronically controlled front loader. Maintenance is easy thanks to centralized lubrication and accessible service points.

According to Product Specialist Timo Mattila, Valtra EME, “Tractors in the 100–145hp range are often used on dairy farms and in yard work, where both tasks and operators change frequently. Versatility is key, and the tractor must be intuitive to operate. Just select the direction and control the speed using the pedal, lever, or cruise control.”

Simple operation

Developed and manufactured by AGCO, the CVT transmission features a single working range from 0 to 40 km/h, making operation simple. All CVT models are equipped with Load Sensing hydraulics. The CVT also supports fuel efficiency, keeping engine revs low while maintaining productivity. The powertrain operates on the EcoPower principle, already proven in Valtra’s larger Q and S Series tractors. As a result, there is no longer a need for separate EcoPower models in the G Series CVT lineup.

A new fender design improves implement coverage and simplifies attachment via enhanced linkage control, with optional PTO and top link controls.

For customers seeking tailored solutions, Valtra Unlimited offers full customization options, including a new cab trim option, safety camera systems, row crop wheels, and more. Valtra Unlimited also serves Valtra’s customers in non-agriculture segments such as airport and municipal sectors. Also a special Valtra Unlimited package is available, which comes in two levels of trim : ‘light’ and ‘premium’. The light package includes the new interior with dark interior panels, roof, and trimmings for A- and C-pillars, integrated A-pillar speakers, RAM ToughTrack rail, ambient roof lighting with the Unlimited logo, and an upgraded radio with built-in tweeters. Durable leather steering wheels and seats ensure comfort and complete the premium feel. The premium launch package builds on this with additional features including the popular foldable corner table to the right side of the steering column, phone holder with wireless charger, and stainless-steel plates, exhaust, and air intake.
