With the new version of the Joker HD, Horsch offers new ways of mixing in organic residues, stubble cultivation and seedbed preparation. Thanks to the new folding concept and revised frame design, the machine is easier to operate.
Due to its new, more aggressive disc angle, the Joker HD mixes even more intensively and incorporates organic matter much better. With the now optional knife roller, long harvest residues are crushed further, and the mixing quality is further improved. The Crossbar can be mounted optionally in front of the disc zone and provides additional levelling in the longitudinal direction during seedbed preparation.
Depending on the desired working depth, two different disc diameters are available: 620 mm discs are used for working depths of up to approx. 15 cm, while the new 680 mm discs can achieve mixing at a depth of approx. 20 cm. The disc shape, known from the Tiger MT, ensures adequate soil penetration and a long service life. As is usual for the Joker series, two discs are controlled by a wide rubber-mounted arm which ensures maximum clearance with low susceptibility to clogging. The high machine weight and stable design ensure optimum control of the discs even in most challenging operating conditions.
The new Joker HD is available in three models with working widths ranging from 4.15 to 6.15 m. In combination with the knife roller, the compact disc harrow is ideal for massive catch crop populations and for incorporating organic fertilizer and harvest residues such as maize straw. The crossbar is used for efficient seedbed preparation with intensive tillage. Easy operation of the machine ensures a high work rate in tight time frames with minimal wear. A wide selection of single and double packers completes the range.
