New Holland introduces its new application drone, a spraying solution that comes in two versions.  The largest P150 model, operates with 70 liters capacity and the P60 with 30 liters. It is particularly useful in areas which are difficult to access with machinery.

The drone application technology offers an efficient and versatile alternative to traditional spraying systems in some parts of the world, designed either as an addition, or as a replacement of existing spraying systems. Its capacity and features make it suitable for small, medium and large producers, seeking to optimize tasks in their fields. New Holland drones have been developed in cooperation with XAG

According to Federico Arroyo, New Holland’s marketing manager in Argentina, the application drone is an efficient and versatile high-precision alternative that complements traditional systems, especially in areas where field work with tractors and implement is difficult.

The P60 model has an application width of 8 meters, while the P150 reaches up to 10 meters, and both offer a spray flow of 30 liters per minute. In addition, they include the possibility of incorporating tanks for solid applications of 25 and 70 kg, further expanding their functionality.

Equipped with modern technology, this drone can operate with maximum efficiency and precision in all kinds of conditions, both day and night. It features sensors with a frontal range of up to 100 meters and offers real-time 3D mapping, facilitating precise adaptation to the terrain. Its fast-charging smart batteries and an efficient cooling system ensure a higher operating capacity for longer periods of time.

One of the main features of the drone is its capacity to operate in irregular, mountainous or difficult to access terrain, where traditional systems encounter limitations. It also represents an ideal solution to take care of the soil and crops in adverse conditions such as muddy soils or after rains, as it avoids compaction and crop damage.

Hence, New Holland’s new application drone reduces operational risks and preserves the integrity of the soil and crops, making it suitable for smarter, sustainable and efficient agriculture.

The new spraying drones will be on display during the upcoming Agroactiva tradeshow in Santa Fe, Argentina, from June 4-7.
