Case IH upgrades Farmall C Series

Revised larger 100-117hp tractors in the Case IH Farmall C series can now be specified with the proven ManualDrive transmission as an alternative to the established ActiveDrive 2, and are available with new features designed to improve capability and efficiency. The tractors will ultimately be available with cab or ROPS, to match different customer needs.

The ManualDrive option, a 12F/12R transmission (or 20×20 with creeper), comes with an electronic clutchless power shuttle that can be modulated for response speed, easing operator strain and making these tractors particularly suited to loader work. A maximum rear tyre size of 540/65 R38 can now be specified to maximize grip and field performance for tillage, planting and heavy-duty applications.

To further enhance these tractors’ suitability for loader work, both transmission versions feature the new ActiveClutch, which disengages the connection between engine and transmission when the footbrakes are pressed, helping reduce operator fatigue and improve ease of use. Available factory-fitted, the new Case IH L635 loader lifts 2.0t to 3.8m, and is available with an auto-locking, fast multi-coupler for loader services, mechanical self-levelling and a third function.

While retaining compact dimensions, new Farmall C models benefit from enhanced capabilities thanks to higher-capacity components. A higher-flow 82 l/min pump increases hydraulically-driven implement performance and responsiveness. Heavier implement handling and haulage is also boosted by a higher 7.0t permissible gross vehicle weight that permits greater payloads for improved efficiency.

Improved comfort and ergonomics

A new digital instrument panel with adaptive lighting makes tractor data easier to read throughout the day. At night and in low-light conditions, new LED lighting options maximize all-round vision.

Options for Farmall C tractors include ISOBUS Class 2 electric autoguidance that can be fitted from the factory. In addition, data is instantly and automatically uploaded to the new FieldOps platform for unified web and mobile access, aiding recording, management and decision making.
