CNH will expand its Distribution Center (DC) in Cuiabá (MT), Brazil as part of its strategy to improve parts availability and optimize delivery time to the Midwest, a key region for agriculture in Brazil.
With the new expanded facility, delivery time of parts to the region is expected to be up to 50%. Mato Grosso a large part of Brazil’s grain production is concentrated. The expansion will also make it possible to serve the state of Rondônia, another important production region. The center serves both the Case IH and New Holland dealer networks.
With the expansion, the new center will have an 8,000 m² warehouse, an increase of approximately three times compared to the current operation. Storage capacity will be expanded, with a view to having a large and more complete inventory. “The customer is in the focus of our business. With this expansion, we can guarantee more efficiency, safety and quality in serving producers in this location, which is essential for Brazilian agriculture,” said Fernando Gaya, responsible for CNH’s Commercial and Parts Operations area for Latin America.
CNH partners with a specialized logistics service for the operational management of the new warehouse, which will ensure greater agility. The expanded facility is scheduled to open in the second half of this year.
