Combinations of the Nexat carrier vehicle with a range of implement manufacturers from Europe and Brazil, are operating on fields worldwide. Most recently, Amazone has joined this range, with the ZG-TS 20001 fertilizer spreader. Two of these combinations currently operate in Romania and Brazil.
The new combination of the Nexat carrier vehicle with Amazone fertilizer spreader features a total capacity of 20,000 liters (two hoppers with a capacity of 10,000 liters each) enabling a high output with maximum efficiency.
The TS spreading unit at the rear of the Amazone fertilizer spreader, consists of two spreading discs and enables working widths of up to 54 meters. This covers the individual Nexat working widths of 28/42 metres. The fertilizer spreader is equipped with the precise border spreading system AutoTS as well as ArgusTwin and WindControl technologies. These automatically adjust the lateral distribution of the fertilizer, ensuring uniform application even under windy conditions.
A particular highlight of the new fertilizer spreader is the integration of the “Parabolic Throw” of “Section Control”, integrated in the Nexat terminal. This technology adapts the fertilizer application rate precisely to the spreading pattern, which significantly improves spreading quality. The automatic control system ensures that fertilizer is distributed precisely and overlapping or undersupply is avoided. This not only increases the efficiency of fertilization, but also contributes to the sustainable use of operating resources.
The Nexat system (Next Generation Agricultural Technology) is a holistic plant production system that integrates all necessary field operations, which previously required various types of agricultural machinery, into a single system. With a working width of 14 meters, Nexat enables the consistent application of the Wide-Span Controlled Traffic Farming (WS-CTF) principle. As a result, only 5% of the field is trafficked, while 95% of the soil remains undisturbed. This technology allows for earlier fertilizer application, as the fixed tramlines ensure year-round accessibility.
