Same Deutz-Fahr Group (SDF) from Italy, manufacturer of tractors, harvesting machinery and diesel engines, opens its subsidiary “Same Deutz-Fahr Tanzania Limited.” The new subsidiary will be in charge of commercial expansion and after-sales in East and Southern Africa.

Agriculture on the African continent, particularly in the Sub-Saharan and Eastern region, is developing substantially. In order to facilitate this sector, ag machinery is needed to increase productivity and support the young and constantly growing population on this continent.

The new African SDF office, joins 15 SDF branches in Europe, Asia and the Americas, 155 importers and more than 3,100 dealers around the world. It puts a further step in the development of SDF’s sales network, pursuing increasing internationalization. The previous addition was last year, when SDF opened its branch in Santiago de Querétaro in Mexico.
