DLG TestService is strengthening its team at DLG’s test center for agricultural technology and farm inputs in Gross Umstadt, Germany.  DLG is Germany’s Agricultural Society, among other activities known as organizer of the biennial international trade-show Agritechnica.

Heinrich Wilking has been appointed division manager at DLG TestService and Raphael Korte as test engineer, both roles that will support the growing test area of homologation. Sven Bümmerstede is appointed Sales & Business Development Manager and is responsible for the sales and strategic development of the test center. These appointments support the goal of DLG TestService to expand its range of testing and services further, meeting the growing demands of the industry.

With its international reach and global network, DLG TestService is one of the leading homologation service providers in the field of agricultural, construction and forestry machinery. The certification issued recently by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) is a testimony to the DLG center’s quality and safety standards.

“We are delighted to strengthen our homologation team with two experts in the field. Heinrich Wilking and Raphael Korte both have many years of valuable experience in technical services from the German Federal Motor Vehicle Office (KBA) in the field of testing and certification,” says Christian Grachtrup, Managing Director of DLG TestService.

Heading the Homologation department, Heinrich Wilking is responsible for approvals of vehicles and parts, including agricultural, forestry and construction vehicles and machinery for directives that include regulation (EU) 167/2013, (EU) 2025/14 and the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO).

With extensive experience in type approval and vehicle acceptance of agricultural and forestry vehicles, Raphael Korte joins DLG TestService as test engineer. Korte will support the further development of the homologation services, continuing to ensure efficient customer relations.

As sales & business development manager, Sven Bümmerstede will support the expansion of DLG TestService GmbH into a comprehensive engineering service provider in the areas of testing, inspection and validation for agricultural, forestry and construction machinery and their components and suppliers. Bümmerstede has accumulated many years of experience in the supplier industry in the off-road sector, which he will apply to this role.
