Jürgen Hölscher has been appointed to the supervisory board of the Krone Group. The 58-year-old banking expert with many years of experience in management positions at cooperative banks will provide advice on strategic decisions and future projects.

“Jürgen Hölscher not only has excellent knowledge of the financial market and the banking sector, but based on his work in agricultural consultancy, he also knows exactly what issues are driving our customers, especially those in the agricultural sector. As a sustainable networker who holds several supervisory board mandates, he will use his extensive expertise to provide valuable impetus for the stable further development of our group of companies,” says Bernard Krone, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

As a result of this addition, the newly formed supervisory board under the leadership of Bernard Krone now consists of the following members, who each contribute different areas of expertise: Alfons Veer, financial expert and Deputy Chairman, has been continuously focusing on the overall strategy and the implementation of sustainable organisational structures in the Krone Group for years. With Jürgen Hölscher, he now has support for the diverse topics relating to complex financial management.

Bernd Meerpohl, a renowned specialist in animal husbandry technology and owner of a globally operating family business in this field, will primarily support the technological and production-orientated further development. Dr Tono Nasch, managing partner of an institute that deals with the testing of current and future vehicle drives, among other things, will contribute his expertise in the areas of digitalisation, automation and electrification.
