QR-code provides “machine DNA”

With a QR code, Horsch presents a solution to easily access machine information. Since summer 2024, every Horsch machine that is produced in Germany, has been provided with a QR code plate that is made of solid sheet steel and attached to the machine frame.

The QR code is the “digital business card” of the machine and by simply scanning, it enables  access to  machine-specific information and its applications. As it is linked to the serial number, users only receive relevant and customized information that can be accessed any time. The clearly positioned and user-friendly display saves time and prevents an overload of information, which might occur when retrieving technical details.

The applications that are relevant for the use and the type of machine are provided at a glance in a compact way. Machines that are equipped with HorschConnect, can immediately be accessed by Telematics. Relevant documents or brochures, as well as the individual machine configuration, are also immediately available.

Positioned at a logical and accessible spot on the machine, the QR code can easily be scanned and is protected from wear. With certain models, the code can even be scanned comfortably from the cabin.

With this innovation, Horsch introduces  digital support, a central and individualized source of information that makes the daily work routine more efficient.

The QR code will in a later stage also be attached to Horsch machines, which are produced outside Germany.
