The DLG (German Agricultural Society) has appointed Ralph Königs as Manager of ‘Business Segment Dealer’, a newly-created position that has been set up to fill the needs of global agricultural machinery dealer organizations for international meeting places that offer tailored information and networking opportunities.

Bringing many years of relevant industry experience, Königs will further enhance DLG’s wide international network in the farm equipment dealer sector by developing new services and event concepts for the international agricultural trade industry. A particular focus will be on customized services at Agritechnica 2025 to take place in Hanover, Germany, 9-15 November.

Agritechnica offers individual dealers and international dealer organizations – including the key countries in 2025: Canada, the Czech Republic and France – a comprehensive meeting place with specialized information ranging from logistics and financing, customs issues to second-hand machinery center and a feature on live tractor repairs. Forging closer relationships with dealer organizations in Europe and other continents, Königs will drive forward the strategic development of the agricultural machinery trade segment within the DLG, starting with developing Agritechnica’s offering further with new features.

Ralph Königs will be working closely with the international agricultural machinery trade industry to develop and establish new and suitable formats.

Königs joins the DLG from a leading supplier of tillage and seed drill technology where he was export manager. Prior to that, he set up and successfully developed an agricultural machinery business. Königs has gone through formal training as a farmer, agricultural machinery mechanic and merchant in wholesale and foreign trade.
