More capacity from the front hopper

SKY Agriculture unveils its “Progress TF” front-mounted hopper. Available with 2, 3 or 4 sections, it combines technological progress and performance with agronomic needs.

The “Progress TF” is capable of providing up to 4 separate sections, all controlled via a single ISOBUS interface. This configuration enables simultaneous management of up to  4 different products, distributed over 2 independent air circuits. Farmers can thus adjust 4 different dosages and sow at 2 different depths, an essential flexibility to respond to advanced technical itineraries.

Thanks to a pressurized pneumatic circuit, the “Progress TF” achieves throughputs of 60 kg/min, while maintaining optimum operating comfort. The sections themselves are not pressurized, providing a number of practical advantages:

  • Additional hoppers can be added without complexity.
  • Large hopper opening for easy filling and maintenance.
  • Inspection of the inside of the hopper without interrupting the blower.
  • Simplified sealing: no need to ensure perfect sealing of the hopper.

As an option, the “Progress TF” can be fitted with a front packer, positioned in front of the hopper. It consists of two large-diameter wheels, offering optimum performance even in wet conditions, such as in autumn. The quick-hitch system makes it easy to uncouple the attachment when required.

Optimum visibility

User safety and comfort were top priorities in the design of the new Progress TF. For road transport, it is equipped with two side cameras, offering optimum visibility. The Progress TF is also equipped with work lights all around.

Thanks to its performance of 60 kg/min, the Progress TF is suited to high throughput requirements, particularly for intensive fertilization. It is particularly effective for potato planting, organic farming, market gardening and corn sowing.

In addition, the Progress TF can be fitted with the optional EDrive system. This device controls the opening and closing of each row from the cab, offering simplified, universal tramline management, whatever the width of the machine. It is also possible to easily seed every other row. The new CCI console combined with guidance, enables automatic tramlining without having to sow back and forth.

The hopper design maximizes operator visibility, such as from a plunging hood specially designed to provide a wider vision. This allows the driver to maintain a clear view of the field, allowing easier control during maneuvers. This visibility doesn’t limit capacity, as the Progress TF offers a volume of 2,200 to 2,400 liters.

A single attachment point is fitted to the tractor, simplifying mounting for dealers and dismounting for farmers. This system also has the advantage of maintaining a constant angle between the TF and the side pipe.

The Progress TF hopper is compatible not only with SKY Agriculture’s entire range of seed drills, but also with the Methys stubble cultivator. Thanks to a specific distribution head for high flow rates, the Progress TF can also be used with a precision seeder or a hoe, further extending its field of application.
