Naïo Technologies celebrates the 10th anniversary of Oz, its first ag robot. To mark a decade in the market Naïo introduces a limited-edition anniversary series of the Oz robot, featuring a new design and enhanced functionalities, at the experimental vegetable farming station in Auray Brittany, France.

“Oz is more than just a robot. It’s a reliable partner transforming farmers’ daily lives, allowing them to focus on what really matters. Ten years ago, purchasing an Oz robot was a bold move reserved for pioneers. Today, Oz – like the other robots in our lineup – has become indispensable for producers looking to optimize their work and address modern agriculture challenges,” says Aymeric Barthès, co-founder of Naïo Technologies.

“Since Oz arrived at our experimental station 10 years ago, we’ve seen a significant reduction in the strenuousness of daily tasks for our vegetable farmers. Oz allows us to delegate repetitive and physically demanding work, freeing up valuable time for higher-value activities such as harvesting, marketing, and sales. Programming the Oz robot is now part of our regular activities. This approach aligns perfectly with our philosophy of enhancing agricultural work and upskilling our employees by adopting autonomous, simple, durable, and efficient technological solutions,” adds Maët Le Lan, Head of the Auray Experimental Vegetable Farming Station.

Oz, the first fully electric field robot, has redefined agricultural work by providing autonomous, simple, efficient, and sustainable solutions to vegetable farmers worldwide.

To commemorate this milestone, a limited-edition series was unveiled at the Auray experimental station. This location symbolizes 10 years of collaboration between Naïo Technologies and the Brittany Chamber of Agriculture, one of its earliest customers, with the goal of enhancing agricultural work and improving producers’ daily lives through concrete solutions such as the Oz robot.

This anniversary series is limited to 20 units: 10 for France and 10 for international markets. Each Oz robot will feature a newly designed logo to mark the 10-year milestone. The circular “0” symbolizes the wheel, while the lines highlight the precision of the robot’s work, made possible by its integrated mapping software, agility, and adaptability to various farming conditions.

In addition to a refreshed design, the 10th anniversary of the Oz robot marks an important step for Naïo Technologies and the future of agricultural robotics. It’s also an opportunity to showcase even more advanced features:

More powerful: Integration of a motor that’s 50% more efficient for better energy use and improved output.

More versatile: A wider range of 35 available tools for various agricultural tasks, optimizing resource use.

More precise: GPS guidance for centimeter-level accuracy, enabling high-precision work and reducing manual correction costs.

Easier to use: The Naïo Companion app allows for simplified management and real-time remote monitoring via smartphone, making task management easier (mission setup and robot movement).

Moreover, Naïo Technologies is B Corp certified and recognized as a “Mission-Driven Company” under the French PACTE law, ensuring the reliability and durability of its products with a 5-year warranty on all robots made in France. Every Naïo robot is 100% electric, reducing carbon emissions, while their lightweight design minimizes soil compaction.

Naïo Technologies is also the founder of the “Augmented Autonomy” concept. This technology allows all Naïo robots to operate securely and without human supervision in the field, providing significant time savings and increased efficiency for producers.
