The partnership between ABIMAQ (Brazilian Machinery Manufacturers Association) and ApexBrasil (The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) seems to have strengthened Brazil’s position as important international player in the agricultural machinery industry.
Matchmaking business rounds at the show involved 59 national companies and buyers from South Africa, Angola, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Tanzania, Turkey and Uruguay.
Objective of BMS was to strengthen the international image of the Brazilian agricultural machinery and equipment industry. Attendance of foreign visitors marked the five days of the fair, such as official delegations from African countries, particularly Nigeria and Senegal. The show also welcomed visitors from other countries of the African continent, like Mali and Côte d’Ivoire.
Exhibitors from China, as well as from Europe participated, with booths from Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, and France.
