AVR Puma 4.0: old meets new

As announced earlier this year, AVR, manufacturer of a full range of potato harvesting machines, celebrates its 175th anniversary in 2024. At this occasion, the company launches a limited “retro” edition of the Puma 4.0 self-propelled harvester. Lifting the veil shows how this machine looks like.

Since its introduction in 2006, over 550 units of the Puma harvester have been built and delivered to customers all over the world, from home market Western Europe to Canada and Australia.

“What better machine to put AVR’s 175th anniversary in the spotlight”, says the AVR management. The company is therefore marketing a limited edition of the Puma 4.0. The high-tech self-propelled harvester is designed with a retro look. Old meets new.

A very limited series of this harvester will be made available.  This goes along with a miniature scale model of the Puma 4.0. Every customer who buys a Puma 4.0 this year, will also receive a miniature version. This also goes for the limited edition Puma 4.0, which comes with a miniature limited edition.

Delivery of the miniature versions is expected in early November, just in time for Interpom and other festivities taking place around that period that are centered around AVR’s 175th anniversary.
