CNH celebrates the 25th anniversary of its New Holland brand in India. Since its inception, New Holland provides technological innovation to the country’s agricultural sector. Apart from new tractor techniques, New Holland has pioneered baling technology for crop residue.
As part of the celebrations, the company showcased its wide range of farm equipment at its Greater Noida manufacturing plant, including tractors, combine harvesters and balers. CNH also presented its local R&D capability by demonstrating precision technology, including telematics and software apps, developed and integrated across product segments by the India Technology Center.

The Greater Noida manufacturing facility is an advanced tractor manufacturing facility in India, with an annual production capacity of over 60,000 machines. The plant operates according to the company’s CNH Business System which drives greater accountability, agility, efficiency and safety, and is aligned with the country’s Make-in-India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, delivering over two decades of continuous production for both domestic and export markets. Recently, it achieved the production volume of over 670,000 tractors.
CNH India remains committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. With a focus on reducing its carbon footprint, the plant has made significant strides, reducing approximately 26,000 tons of CO2 emissions over the past decade. Embracing renewable energy sources, solar panels installed at the Greater Noida plant provide some 25% of the facilities’ energy requirements. Furthermore, the facility has adopted the Miyawaki Project Methodology, planting over 10,000 trees of 30 different species covering 3,000 square meters.
