The Sugarex show in Thailand is one of the largest agricultural shows in SE Asia, and the only show focussing solely on the sugar and ethanol industry. Samart Kaset Yon Ltd will be a major sponsor to this event during 2023.

Speaking at a recent press event, the owner of the company, Mr Samart Leethirananon said: “We have participated successfully in this annual event for several years and it has proved extremely productive for us. Now it is time for companies like ourselves to give something back. Farmers and those in the sugar industry need a forum to meet, network, and have the opportunity to consider the new products and processes which will be showcased. Sugarex provides such a platform and I am very happy to support the show”.

On the new product front, Samart will be exhibiting their SM 200 Superspeed II cane harvester. The Superspeed was originally introduced as a “contract” machine because of its high transport speed (50kph), but has gained popularity among those who are farming medium to large plantations, because of its robust design and reliability. The new version sees updates to the base cutter, cane transfer and leaf blower systems, these revisions reduce the machine’s power demand and contribute to its low operating costs. The Superspeed II will now also provide a fully emissionised engine and the Samart TEC engine management system.

The Sugarex show takes place at KICC exhibition centre in Khon Kean Thailand on September 14th & 15th this year.
