During the Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference  of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ASABE), three awards were presented to the Fendt Rogator 900 self-propelled sprayer for application and fertilization, the Fendt 300 Vario and the headland management system Fendt TI Headland.

“The AE50 Awards are among our industry’s highest achievements and AGCO is very proud to be honored again this year with ASABE’s recognition,” said Brad Arnold, senior vice president, Product Management at AGCO.

“Fendt machines enable farmers worldwide to do their work more efficiently and sustainably and the focus must always be on the benefits for the customer. Due to the successful growth strategy, the requirements of North American farmers also determine our work,” says Walter Wagner, Managing Director for Research and Development AGCO/Fendt. “The main task of the engineers in the Research and Development department is to find good solutions for these different requirements.”

Versatility and long operating windows – the Fendt Rogator 900

The self-propelled sprayer for application and fertilization has been designed for use on large areas worldwide. For the first time, the chassis of the self-propelled harvester can be raised to a height of up to 1.93 meters (76 inches) and can thus also be used in late growth phases. The body of the machine allows a quick change between different bodies for application and fertilization. With an external width of 3.91 to 4.49 meters (12.8 –14.7 feet), the self-propelled machine is suitable for use on large areas in North and South America, Australia, as well as in Eastern Europe.

Smart, versatile and maneuverable – The Fendt 300 Vario

The need for clear operation and a wider range of functions is also increasing for compact tractors, such as the Fendt 300 Vario series. The Fendt 300 Vario is perfectly equipped for versatile use in grassland, on the field, as a farm tractor or even in front loader operation. With the added power concept Fendt DynamicPerformance, the top model in the series, the Fendt 314 Vario, achieves 152 hp. In addition, the compact series has a comprehensive package of Smart Farming solutions in FendtONE.

Automated headland management – Fendt TI Headland

The Fendt TI Headland system for professional headland management is optionally available in the Fendt 300 Vario and all series with Profi+ equipment. With Fendt TI Headland, both the work steps at the headland and the turning at the headland can be automated. It includes four different turning modes, bed mode, U-turn, K-turn and Y-turn.

About the AE50 Award

Annually, the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, in conjunction with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), recognizes the top 50 innovations. ASABE’s Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference is held annually in Louisville, Kentucky. Ten of the AE50 Award-winning innovations are eligible to compete for the Davidson Prize. This is awarded to only three selected innovations.
