Case IH Magnum AFS 400 “Tractor of the Year” in Brazil

During a special live event inside the Agrishow Experience, Case IH has been awarded “Brazilian Tractor of the Year” with the Magnum AFS Connect 400, launched this year in Brazil.

The Magnum model is part of the new generation of tractors that have digital agriculture in their DNA, combining technology, strength and performance for high performance in the field. All tractors  in the Magnum AFS Connect line are equipped with the AFS Connect system on board from the factory, bringing a new AFS Pro 1200 monitor, operating system with 4G connectivity, AFS Vector Pro receiver, totally redesigned to allow remote viewing and remote support resources.

In all, Case IH received three awards in different categories, including the brand most voted by the popular jury. “Being the agricultural tractor brand most voted by the Brazilian farmer means a lot to the entire Case IH team. It’s recognition that our products meet the needs of the field. Our brand is in constant evolution, combining technology and innovation in the new era of digital agriculture,” said Eduardo Penha, commercial marketing and communication director of Case IH for Latin America.

Case IH also received the award in the category above 200 hp, high-power tractors, with the Magnum AFS Connect 400.”

The Tractor of the Year award is concerned with and encourages the constant evolution of technology and growth of the tractor market in the country, it believes in investment in research, the constant growth of engineering and universities focused on mechanization. The benefits of this constant development can be felt by our farmers who use these growing innovations in the field and who, through popular vote, can find out what is most modern in our market.

The technical evaluation commission of the award is formed by professors: Leonardo Monteiro from the Federal University of Ceará – Technical Coordinator, Diego Augusto Fiorese from the Federal University of Mato Grosso, Tiago Francetto from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Rouverson Pereira da Silva from UNESP Jaboticabal, Viviane Castro dos Santos from the Federal University of Ceará.
